Ellipsiz was founded in 1992 as a leading provider of integrated solutions in the electronics industry. Over the years, it has become one of the leading engineering and service solutions providers, serving customers across the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries in Asia. Listed on the SGX Mainboard in July 2000 and headquartered in Singapore, Ellipsiz offers outstanding technical support along with dependable delivery and quality.

 

During the expansion phase, Ellipsiz was a leading probe card solutions (PCS) designer and manufacturer for the world’s semiconductor industry. We also distribute a wide range of manufacturing, testing and inspection/measurement equipment to the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing and telecommunication industries. In 2017, Ellipsiz divested its probe card business and is currently focused on its distribution business.

 

Our main subsidiary, Ellipsiz Distribution & Services Solutions (DSS), has a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services to cater to the needs in the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem. DSS has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan R.O.C.

Excellent Scientific Instruments was formed to provide QRA solutions for the Semiconductor Industry

1994

SingaTrust Pte Ltd was incorporated as the investment holding company of Excellent Scientific Instruments.

2000

SingaTrust Ltd was listed on SGX Mainboard.

2001

SingaTrust Ltd changed its name to Ellipsiz Ltd.

2005

Acquired 51% stake in iNETest Resources, which provides manufacturing test solutions for electronics end-product makers like contract manufacturers.

Acquired 91% stake in FMB Industries Pte Ltd, which provides consumables for the semiconductor and biomedical sectors.

2006

Increased iNETest stake to 100%.

2009

Increased FMB Industries stake to 100%.

2012

Integration of subsidiaries FMB, iNETest, ESPL into Ellipsiz DSS.

2013

Acquired the probe card business, technologies, intellectual property rights and assets from Tokyo Cathode Laboratory Co Ltd.

2017

Divested SV Probe and its probe card business.

2018

Acquired 50% stake in Kalms Investment Pte Ltd. It’s subsidiary, Kalms SG, is in the trade of technology-enabled retail business through the use of intelligent vending machines equipped with latest technology and associated solutions.

2019

Incorporated a 50%-owned joint venture company, Adell Solutions Pte Ltd, for the purpose of conducting the businesses of purchasing, refurbishing, reselling and installing used semiconductor equipment.

2019

Acquired 58 hectares of land in Berakit, Bintan, Indonesia through its 75% owned subsidiary, PT Super Makmur Sejahtera

2020

Restructured vending solutions business to exit from Kalms Investment Pte Ltd

2020

Acquired 51% stake in Axis-Tec Pte Ltd, which provides automated precision system solutions

2021

Acquired additional 27 hectares of land in Berakit, Bintan, Indonesia
